EKK… I won last month’s Royal Challenge… Although I kind of won because I was the only one who joined in all the fun. This package came to me in the mail and I was super excited. I got all kinds of goodies. Some I’m not even sure what I going to do with them. Check out The Royal Castle Shoppe. This is where I’ve purchased my sequins from that I’ve been using in my shaker cards. [Read more…]
Sorry my blog posting is not normal by any means. I just don’t have the motivation right now to really sit down and so something. I’m going to start getting back into the card challenges that I do follow. This is truly the time of year that I would just rather sit around watching movies. I go on a trip to Oregon this June and I’m super excited about it! It is always fun seeing family and friends!
What can I say? I just really love Sweet Stamp Shop’s stamp sets! This is a layout that I did while at a retreat. I’ve not figured out how to add way more to each layout but I’m slowly getting there. Baby steps with everything! [Read more…]
Have you seen the super cute shaker cards that people are making? I liked it so much that I had to get myself some sequins and try to make one. I love how it turned out. This card I made using Sweet Stamp Shop stamps… I love this company. The owner is GREAT! [Read more…]
So I’ve been watching Kristina Werner for awhile now and she does this amazing background thing where she uses Tim Holtz distress markers and water to create a background. I liked it so much that I had my wonderful husband buy me the entire set of markers!
Master’s Touch Fine Art Studio Water Paper (I should buy Tim Holtz)
Distress Markers : Seedless Preserves, Picked Raspberry, Spun Sugar
Stamps: Sweet Stamp Shop “Chalkboard Sign”
Extras: pop dots, black gel pen, white ribbon
The pattern I picked up at Cutting Edge Stencil. It was more difficult than I thought. I have textured walls so applying the stencil was hard. I was able to use spray adhesive on the back of the stencil and painters tape around the edge on the corners.
After spending some time thinking I went with a color called Watermelon Smoothie from Home Depot. The color looks AMAZING!
Almost all of the furniture is from Ikea. The desks are nice because I can choose the color of legs. The desk in the corner has pink legs while the desk on the wall has black.
On Saturday I went to Slaughterhouse Tattoos located in Killeen Texas. The artist I see is Stax! He has pretty much done my entire arm and I LOVE it!
I found the owl on Pinterest. We did change it some as you can see. The eyes are different plus we added a bow. I shouldn’t say we I should say Stax did. I love how it turned out.
You are in for some really cute projects that these ladies came up! I can’t wait to get some of these stamp sets and dies. Check out the super cute hop for yourself 🙂
Once your done with the hop be sure to check out Paper Smooches store to see what they have to offer! I promise you will love tons of it and I’m saying sorry to your wallet because your going to want most of it!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I know I’m a little late on that. But I can’t believe January is already almost over! My daughter had her 9th birthday this month. My husband found an office to work from (he was working from home). Now it is just the dog and I at home all day. I hope to really get started on my projects that I need to get done. I’m getting further and further behind in my scrapbooking. For Christmas I told Chris (my husband) that I was interested in starting project life. I was surprised to see how much he actually bought for me. I’ve only created the one layout but I’m loving it! For this layout I added some stamping to it. I used Sweet Stamp Shop stamps and love the way it turned out!
