Crown card!

Cards, CRICUT!, gifts, Rock Princess, stickles No Comments »

Recently I have been watching a live stream for the people who are doing the donations for the Horn of Africa.  The guy that runs the stream is a huge online gamer!  He refers to himself as the Leet King (nerd talk).

I used the cricut cartridge “Rock Princess”  I know sounds weird because I made this card for a man.  But I think it turned out great! I added lots and lots of stickles to it to make it glitter.

Also too I’m giving away cards to people who donate money through my sub-fundraiser. Donate $5 and I will mail a card anywhere in the US. Donate $10 and I will mail a card anywhere in the world!  Just click the picture to donate!  Any amount is helpful!

Valentine’s Day Card for 1st grade

I told myself last year that I would not make cards for my daughter’s class again but I went and did it again.  While her daddy was away on a business trip we made the hour trip to Archivers.  I let her pick out the paper that she wanted to have the cards made of.  Then we decided what little animals we would put on it.  She went with the turtle and hedgehog.  I think they turned out super cute.

supplies:
paper: Bazzill (Ballet), the Paper Company (berry), glitter cardstock & Doodlebug (Sweet Cakes)
Cricut: Create A Critter 2.5″
Punch: Martha Stewart Scallop Heart

This super cute card is very quick and very simple to make. The thing that took the longest for this card was taking the time to cut out the little turtle! I love the way it turned out. This card is based off of a sketch that I found online.

Supplies

Stamps: Paper Smooches “Party Posse

Punch: Martha Stewart “Half Daisy”

Well didn’t this just turn out super cute!  I love how all of the colors work together.  I had made this card in the start of January but have not gotten around to posting it.  Yes I know I’m a bad blogger, but I’m working on it.  Let me know what you think of this card.

Extras: cuttlebug (nestibilites) , and my favorite black gel pen

Toes in the Sand layout

The pictures are from 2005 when Iva Marie was about 4 or 5 months old.  It was a warm enough day that we took her out to the beach and stuck her little toes in the sand.  Her reaction was the best.  The pictures don’t do it any justice.
