I’m currently in a swap where we are exchanging flowers.  I thought it would be a great time to break in my cricut cart that I had gotten back around mother’s day.  It is called Mother’s Day Bouquet.  This cart is targeted so you can build your own flowers.  So I cut 140 for the other girlies in the swap to make their own.  I also include brad and other embellishments to make the layers into flowers.  Hope they enjoy.  I had fun picking out all the different kinds of paper.  Flower ranged from 2″ to 1.5″

I saw an image of this online yesterday and I thought to myself I can make that! I love the way it turned out. I guess it is my way of saying I’m sorry for not attending meet the teacher. But I can tell you this I was in no mood to deal with other people so I stayed home and got to hear how great it was from my now 1st grader and her daddy! I’m so glad she is liking it so far!

This project did take me awhile since I had to hand glue each crayon on to the circle with a hot glue gun. I think it turned out super cute! And it will work for the rest of her teaching carrier if it does’t break.
