I’m loving working on layouts of my baby girl! It brings a tear back to think of all the growing she has done in the last five years! Does anyone know where the time goes?
I’ve finally decided to take the time and work on my daughter’s baby book. I can’t believe that she is 5 now. Where did the time go? Seems like just yesterday her daddy was pushing her stroller to the candy store where I was working when she was 3 months old.
After Iva Marie was born someone took this great picture of her Daddy holding her in the hospital. I just love how he is looking at her.

This one was a hard one to come up with. I really enjoy using girlie colors so to make a macho card was a tough one but I love the way it turned out.
I found this card on youtube and I really love how easy she explains how to put it all together.
Here is the card that I made.
Around the image where the black looks washed out I actually used bleach to make the paper lighter. I learned this new technique from Nadine!! Now I can’t wait to use it again.
papers: American Crafts & Stampin Up
Stamp: Stampendous – Ranunculus Field , Happy Birthday from Hobby Lobby
extras: white ribbon, large eyelet, bleach
I can not believe I haven’t used this cricut cartridge in a while! I think I have fallen in love with it all over again. I’m not sure on the actual size of this card but it will fit in the 4 3/4″ x 6 1/2″ envelope. The string on the balloons is from The Angel Company. I used pop dots on some of the balloons to make them stand out. The bear is also popped up off the card. The bear is cut at 2.25″ and the balloons are cut at 2.02″, the saying is done at 1.11″. The paper I picked up in a paper pack at Hobby Lobby.
A few friends and I are starting to make some cards for soldiers!!! I’m having a blast coming up with simple yet beautiful cards!
Here are some that I have come up with. The birthday stamp is from Stampin Up. There is a mix of paper and ribbon. All of the cards will fit into a 4 3/4 x 6 1/2″ envelope.
